Description
These solid mild-steel pins are shaped to drive into firm or uneven ground and keep road forms aligned while concrete is placed and cured. They can also be used for setting out boundaries and early site layouts.
Using the stakes
- Suitable for both rigid and flexible steel formwork
- Sharpened point assists placement in compacted ground
- A spacing of roughly one metre is commonly used
- Three stakes are recommended as a starting point for each 3-metre form
Ground conditions and concrete pressure vary, so the final spacing and bracing arrangement must be checked for each pour.
